OSV with GIGI

Today Aunt Gigi came up to visit Miss Izzy and we headed out to Old Sturbridge Village after a nice lunch with Grandma and Uncle Ben. Izzy was a little more brave about the sheep since she was safe in her wagon. We also got to visit some baby cows. Moo!

Halloween 2009

Izzy had a good time this Halloween. She pulled in quite the haul. She caught on after the first house and trick-or-treated like a pro. This year I thought to take the wagon which was a huge help since her little legs can only take her so far so fast. After visiting a house, Izzy would book it for the wagon, load in her bucket and herself and yell, "Mommy, go go go!" There was more candy to be had! They learn so young :)

First Snow of the Season

Izzy has now added a new word to her vocabulary, "Snow." Yes, it really is snowing. Pretty hard, too. As I'm typing I can see flakes as big as golf balls falling past our windows. It's not even Daddy's birthday yet!

Potty Time!

So today Izzy went piddle in the potty after lunch at day care. Yay! She's been pretending to go for weeks now. Opening the potty chair, sitting, then getting up, closing it and moving it to the sink so she can wash her hands. So we'll see where this goes. A couple boys at daycare are in training so she's obviously picking it up. I guess we should go get a potty book :)

Maine Day Trip

Yesterday, we took a trip up to visit the folks up in Naples since today is Miss Olivia's 5th birthday and we had missed Isaac's 1st birthday the week before. Izzy and Adrienne really hit it off and were often seen running off defying Olivia's commands. Toddlers, sheesh! Isaac has grown SO much since we had seen him last. He is also trying to join the rank of toddler and often pulled himself up to standing and would have Grandma walk him around while holding his hands.

And who are you?

Sittin' for Griffin

Today Aunt Laura and Baby Felix went to a shower so Griffin came over for some play time with Izzy and lunch. He had to play solo for a bit while Izzy took a nap to recover from swimming lessons. She blew bubbles and stroked her arms. Already much improved from her first run of lessons. Griffin had fun playing with Izzy's toys and waited patiently for the princess to wake up.

Once she did they had a blast playing tea party and hanging out in her tent. They tugged a little bit over the Rosie train (Iguess she's cooler than Thomas) but over all they got along swimmingly. Grandma and Uncle Ben also came over to keep Griffin company until his Mom came back. Izzy was quite taken with Felix. She blew him kisses and even tried to share her cookie with him.

Nothing to see here.

DeCordova Museum

Today, Karen joined Izzy and me on a trip to the DeCordova Sculpture Museum. Unfortunately, since the last time we went, they have started to charge admission to the outdoor park. We still went in though and had fun chasing Izzy around the park.
