Yesterday we went to the North Pole (aka. Deerfield, MA) to visit Santa Claus and his wife in his workshop. Mrs. Claus let us know that his suit was getting cleaned for December and his overalls are the more comfortable for making toys (and for in case a baby spit-up on him which Mae did not!) Izzy was all excited to meet Santa until we were the first in line of course. Though Santa took her grumpiness in good fun and held Mae on his lap instead. Izzy will need to write him a note asking for a red teddy bear and a reindeer for Mae. Mae kept mum during her visit with Santa but couldn't stop talking afterwards. We had a nice time looking at the Yankee Christmas Village and picked out ornaments that we would want Santa to bring us.

It's hard to tell Santa what you want with a thumb in your mouth

I think Santa has found a new elf

Well, someone is looking at the camera

Obviously Santa doesn't take Izzy's shunning personally

Izzy gets taunted by an elf

A bit of a tickle gets Izzy to smile

They're not kidding. Snow INSIDE!

That house looks good enough to eat

Ready to Fly!

A bag full of candy and Daddy's hand make a happy Izzy

I gather from this that Izzy would NOT like to see Santa when you visit.
